In 2004 Roger Marris (Rog) was diagnosed with an aggressive form of incurable Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and has set out to raise a minimum of £10,000 with the intention of

1. Raise awareness of blood cancers
2. To encourage visitors to the website to register as potential bone marrow donors
3. To raise money through sponsorship for and involvement in a sporting challenge
4. The charities chosen are the Leukaemia Research Fund and the Anthony Nolan Fund

We feel privileged to support him by giving him one nights accommodation as he travels between Scarborough and North Norfolk.

Update

Mission accomplished! Rog has now completed this challenge and has surpassed his original target by raising more than £25,000 for charity.
